Applied Power Services opened in 1999. We are a service-based DC power company that delivers reliable, uninterrupted battery backup power, redundant power, and critical power needs. As DC power needs have steadily increased, so have our capabilities. Based in Denver, CO, we have experienced crews that allow us to service much of the western U.S. We are as comfortable performing UPS battery cabinet changeouts, as we are installing valve-regulated batteries (VRLA) in a telco application. We consistently handle millions of dollars in product every year and are called back time and time again for our safe, efficient and outstanding performance. With a combined electrical experience of over 100 years we look forward to not only meeting, but exceeding our customers needs by providing complete DC power solutions at a reasonable price.
Our goal is to satisfy the needs of our customers through reliable products and services that represent the best long-term value. We will do our best to ensure that when a need arises we will provide a cost effective solution that meets your requirements. We are not a distributor, nor do we represent any manufacturer.
Applied Power Services is trained and authorized to install a wide variety of power products. Unlike most installation contractors, we are capable of providing customers with the complete package, leaving you with one single point of contact to complete your project promptly and doing the job right the first time. Our highly skilled, experienced and trained project managers and technicians support multi-vendor products in a combined team effort. We have taken precautions to not represent a brand or a product line. There are a lot of options out there when it comes to providing DC power, by doing this it allows our customers a choice and allows them to keep an open frame of mind when selecting a product or vendor.
By having standing, long-term relationships in place with many of the industry leaders, Applied Power Services will continue to carefully select suppliers for the long-term and establish fair, equitable, and mutually beneficial relationships with them, based on quality, dependability, integrity, and total value.
Applied Power Services understands that the well being of our employees, customers, and the public requires an effective,
proactive safety program. We also recognize that working safely contributes to the productivity of our labor force and to the
quality of our work. Although many of the systems we work on are considered low voltage, the power in these units is
tremendous. Arc flash in a DC application can create a very serious situation. The most important thing we can do as a company
is to return our employees home safely each and every night. That is why prior to each project we perform a site inspection to
ensure we have the proper tools and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). In addition, many of our employees have gone through
first aid training and are certified in CPR.
Safety items we carry include: hard hats, safety goggles, steel toed boots, face shields, rubber gloves, acid-proof aprons, eye washes, self retracting lifelines and full body harnesses, pylons, markers, signs, warning tape, and workman’s vests.
